Stephen V. Hoffman, Esq., a real estate transaction and land use attorney, joined Mastriana & Christiansen, P.A. right out of law school in 1986 and is now a partner. Steve focuses his practice on just about all aspects of real estate transaction and development, including but not limited to, property investigation and due diligence, land acquisition, closing and settlement services, title insurance, permitting and governmental approvals, condominium and community association documents and real estate financing with loan document review and drafting.
Steve has always been interested in real estate. He started his college career at Georgia Tech seeking an architectural degree. Influenced by one of his college professors and a Co-op employer, Steve changed majors and graduated with honors with a Bachelors and Co-op degree in Civil Engineering. Taking advantage of an opportunity to go to law school, he entered University of Florida in 1983 with the idea of using a law degree to back up an engineering practice. While attending land use and environmental classes in law school, he saw the advantages in utilizing his engineering knowledge to back up a law practice. Steve's engineering and law degrees messed perfectly with the Law Firm’s real estate and development practice. He has never looked back since.
Steve has worked side by side with Partner, Ron Mastriana, on many nationally renowned projects such as Bass Pro Out Door; Sawgrass Mills Mall; Broward Mall; Dadeland Mall; The Ritz Carlton Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the Trump International Hotel and Tower on Fort Lauderdale Beach; Galleria Mall, Il Lugano Hotel and Residences; Coconut Grove Residences on Ft. Lauderdale Beach Condominium and LeClub Condominium, all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. .
